Event description: The Austin Nature and Science Center teams up with the American Chemical Society for this celebration of Earth Day at the Sheffield Education Center. Family friendly, hands on activities and informative volunteers help visitors learn about the inner workings of plants that make them the original green machines. Green plants energize, produce and help to clean the planet. Bring your questions task the expert volunteers that include college students, university professors and professional chemists. All activities are free. |
