Hikes and wildlife presentations scheduled throughout the afternoon

Event description:
In 2010, the Austin Nature and Science Center is celebrating 50 years of exploring the outdoors with children and families. Join ANSC staff for interpretive hikes along the trails of the Zilker Nature Preserve, meet some of our resident wildlife up close and personal, look for frogs and toads in mirror ponds and enjoy the beautiful woods and meadows at the Austin Nature and Science Center site. Bring an item for trade in the Naturalist Workshop.

Parking information:
Free parking is available under Mopac at Stratford Drive. A short walk up the hill to the site. Handicap parking onsite by the Wildlife Exhibits Building.
