Upper Reaches of Bull Creek Guided Hike

Event description:
Located near the headwaters of Bull Creek, this Balcones Canyonlands Preserve tract is a haven for wildlife. Participants will be led on a tour through a variety of terrain that will start on a rocky plateau, before descending a slope of rich wooded golden-cheeked warbler habitat. Further explorations will reveal meadows and a stream containing Jollyville Plateau salamanders before ascending back to road. Some of this hike will take place off-trail. Participants should be ready to hike over steep rocky terrain covered with vegetation. For ages 12 and up.
